Basically, how our process works is that we base coat (whatever colour we choose) the parts and the design applied on top is semi-transparent. Black usually shows up carbon fiber designs the best, but technically you could go with other colours. But the darker the better typically.

thanks man....yea thats why i went flat black and not glossy, and i didnt want it to look tacky... i like keepin it simple!

np. mine didnt stick that well...i put the passenger side trim on and it scratched and rubbed off some paint on the radio trim...f-in gay. still not done with a lot of it though.

yes wet sanding and a good clear coat to make it shine.... when you wet sand use a high grit sand paper i would start with like 1000 grit and move to 2000

i have not read threw all these its been awhile sence i been on this post. but i just bought some carbon fiber and resin has any of yall done your trim with that? jw or do yall know anyone that has?

i saw the cf vinal on page 14 looks nice

haha yeah I know ive done carbon on airplanes before. all my friends wnated me to get red and black weave i was like naa i think thats ugly. then they wanted that solid red fiber stuff ann plain carbon fiber is always the best looking IMO

Any fiber color besides black/gray is way to much for me. And as for the dash pieces, one solid color is cool, any more and it draws to much attention.

I'm pretty happy with the gold undertones of the appearance, rather than just black and grey. There's so much black already in the interior, it adds a little life to it.
