the wiring is different on the 2.2, 2.4, and 2.0...and beck only shows how to convert from 2.4 to 2.0 I sent him a PM asking if he could help me out, but no response yet

 

most likely the ETC area scalar set it to 2950.000

 

....no HPT....its a 2.2.

well if you got the correlating TB for your year then it should be plug & play ('06 LSJ TB). However i believe you have to do a crank case relearn. If you have a dash hawk you can do it with that or the only other option is dealership which im sure you don't want to do.

 

thats a good question, i don't have a real answer, but us lsj guys have to do the same thing when switching to an ls3 tb, i have an idea what it does though.

 

...why would i need a crank case relearn? Im not using a new PCM, nor has the crankshaft been rotated since this project started. The crankshaft to crankshaft position sensor relation should still be stored from earlier. A new TB shouldnt affect this. If im wrong...then why? lol. Im trying to learn as much as possible about this, and get my car running already..lol

BTW, i have no idea what yearthe TB came off of, though Im pretty sure its '05 or '06. I got most of my parts last september, so the '07s were just coming out, and I doubt too many people were getting rid of their TBs already

This looks like it could work. I'm impressed. Now that there is tuning somewhat available this is actually a feasible option.

 

lol. its kool man i had to learn the stuff too. the crank case relearn has nothing realy to do with the crankshaft or the PCM. its so that the car know the different postions. so that when you press the gas peddle it know what position is WOT and the different percentages. If you saw the process of a crank case relearn you would understand better. I will try and get a vid may be in a few days. Hope this helps.
