not sure , I havent seen anyone reach the limits of the stock pump as of yet . There is a turbo car on this site that dynoed at 401 wp @ 21 psi using the stock pump without issue . I believe GM rates the stock pump to 475hp .

Thanks for the how-to, I'll contribute my pics-
Factory Autometer was dead, solid 6psi all day everyday-
After owning multiple Autometer's and SW Max Perf series I decided to give GlowShift a try despite their somewhat cheap appearance. I browsed reviews, became confident and ordered up the 7-color tinted series-
First order of business was ripping off the factory retainer that only the factory gauge seems to line up with, this went easy and looks flawless-
Only wiring I had to do was a constant power for the GS, I used a mini add-a-circuit as I enjoy the protection and not bastardizing any of my factory wiring, I found one and tapped in-
I snipped the factory plug from the Autometer to use it's ignition and ground, wired it to GS accordingly, this is with the line ran too ready to go (notice I loomed it too)-
The loom allowed me to hide it under factory wiring, I then tapped it into the correct source and proceeded to zip-tie that out of view-
Blue showed up the best for the pictures, so eh, it's a 7-color deal so at night we'll be seeing red-
Further away-
I'm satisfied, enjoy!

BACK FROM THE DEAD! AGAIN!
Anybody know what gauge the OP used? Autometer Sport Comp II???
My stocker has been out for months now, and I need to get this changed once it warms up.

this thread is a BIG help the only thing i noticed was i didnt have to cut into the sound deafining rubber to get my vacuum hose through the fire wall i just went straight through the gromet behind the clutch pedal i did however have to cut a small hole in the side faceing the engine bay to get the hose through then i used a wire coat hanger and looped one side to get the hose and pull it up to my hand
