woa, sorry for the large cameraphone pic
Yes, if you got 2 mounts there will be 4 spacers total. 2 go on the front mount, 2 go on the rear (one on either side of the mount).

All my spacers were the same thickness, it looks like he has two thinner ones in addition to the normal ones. Took a pit of prybar leverage to get them in, but a tight fit is better i think overall. Too loose = no bueno.

Install done. Good write up

they will stop it. vibs are not bad if everything is installed/torqued correctly.

really you'll want to have all four engine/trans mounts loosened for maximum engine play while installing them

Good write up. Another option to driving it then re tourquing is that you can loosen the upper mounts a little and rock the engine back and forth a we bit then tighten them all back down.

did you loosen the side passenger mount bolts? loosen those up by 1 turn each and then it should be easy to install the mounts.

im getting wheel hop still, but i had a few problems. 1st of i ended up cross threading the tranny hole on the very bottom back mount. where theres 3 bolts. so im going to try to place a nut on the bolt to tighten it down. also i didnt read the hole write up. i didnt do that light drive after. so hopefully this well work out tonight! this is my 3rd dam day working on this......about hour and half each night cause of work.

damn, sorry to hear that bud!! essentially, you wanna loosen up the passenger side mount as every1 suggests. then take both stock tranny mounts out, put the new ones in without the center bolts that go through the mounts... then, rock the engine back and forth until you get the bolts to go in. i recommend getting the rear tranny mount center bolt in first. it's easier to lower and raise the engine to align the front mount's center bolt.

as for cross threading the mount... i nearly did that too, but that was when i put the centering bolt in FIRST, THEN tried getting the mount to bolt in flush to the chassis point by trying to get the bolts in and tighten them down, essentially pulling the engine and mount into place with the bolts! this is a no no!

this order --> undo the front and rear center bolts, loosen up passenger mount, align the rear tranny mount and put center bolt in (do not tighten yet) then get front in, then tighten rear tranny mount, then front tranny mount, THEN upper mount. torque to 72 ft-lbs and call it a day

Great write up. I just did this today but it took 4 hours. Getting the spacers in was a PITA, the front was hard but the rear was impossible without using a prybar and muscle to get the second one in. My car is now free of wheel hop.

lol then you did something wrong it goes easy. raise/lower the jack under the oil pan to line it up and itll slide right togather. and have the 3 engine mount bolts already loosened

All the bolts went in fine, the spacers were just a very tight fit, all holes lined up good. No complaints, it was just a tight fit.
