The crow bar started to bend..

i don't see it being tooo big of a problem since theres still the upper engine mount and the two other mounts on the transmission. but with the front trans mount bent, i wouldn't bank on driving around like that for very long.

The trans mount isn't bent. It's the bracket that holds it, the black steel

Do you think it would be safe to use a spreader to unbend it and then put the spacers in?

Sorry to hear about your bad luck.
Not to be an ass but when you get to the end of assembling something and have parts left over thats the time to go over what you did and make sure everything is put together correctly.
