Installed my CF AutoMeter gauge today! Turned out real nice. Only took an hour and a half by myself. I soldered all my wires and also shrink wrapped everything. I also installed quick disconnect connectors for easy removal of the A pillar cover. Will get some pics up soon. I used the AutoMeter Red LED light option as well. Not to bright, not to dim.

the red LED back light is not as bright as it seems in the pic. Its actually just perfect!!! by the way, my camera had a hard time focusing in the dark. Sorry if the images aren't great.

Thanks for the steps Jay. I just got my Autometer CF Series installed tonight. It looks good, but I might buy the LED and see if I like that better because the red incadecent light is almost too dim.

I used the factory plug by obtaining some of the pins that SilverSS/SC used on his.

I also managed to find a gromet that didn't require any cutting to access. If you look under the dash you will see it behind the clutch pedal. there is a plug that you can pull out and then push your tubing through. I'll try to get some pics of it tomorrow.
