most of us with the coupe dont have any passengers thats why we do it. i think its a good excuse not to have people in the back. to each their own. but i have seen small 4 door cars today on the road that do not have headrests. im not sure what the impact would be but there are many cars that either (a) dont have them or (b) the person is not positioned in the seat correctly for them to work as a safety device. i know i lean when i drive usually to the right. if i was hit from behind my headrest wouldnt do ****. my 2 cents.....

I just did this so I can fit a pair of 6x9 pioneers in the back window, the headrests blocked the sound.

BTW... didn't need a hammer or a mallet. Just unbolted, pulled the head rests straight forward and then just gave it a bump with my hand and out they popped.
I'm not arguing with anyone at all in here because everyone has their own opinion, BUT, if you never noticed the headrests in the first place, doesn't that mean they weren't really blocking your view. My wing blocks my view big time, and because of this, I NOTICE it everytime I'm in the car. I personally like the look WITH the headrests and I don't think they block the view at all. Don't really use the rearview much because of the wing though haha

alright you guys, My opinion, cobalts look better with headrests in. Only exception you have to take them out, is if you can replace the look back there, with something sexier.... well sorta like mine

still gotta throw some black electrical tape over red wires, but system is only 3 days old. You get the jist

i got tint its cool. But theres no way there getting that sub outta my trunk. It took two guys and alot of bending and pushing to get it in. Annd since we put an amp on top. So theyll just steal the car, and then I get insurance money. So itll work itself out

judging by the size of that box, and knowing how small the trunk opening is on a coupe....that one goes in from the front with the seats down too I'd guess...haha

BTW....my headrests are coming out. I'm gonns fil the holes left over somehow too

speakers in the back window looks gay imo. and not to mention when u get jacked u will be crying about it. And dont say i have an alarm so i'm safe because i know a ton of guys that can get around them. i do like the look of the no headrest though. I just wouldnt do it myself

I meant I never noticed how much they were in the way. If you walk around with sunglasses all day but can still see, that doesnt mean its not more clear when you take them off.

It's one of those things you never really notice, until someone points it out....
