I ended up going with AutoLite Iridiums after Seafoaming it. AAP didn't have any NGKs in stock. Once I turbo, I'll change out to a better plug anyway.

I second this ^ you can pick up little packets at your local auto store

Do you need to replace spark plug wires when you do this?

no you dont have to you only have to take the coil pack off ive had my valve cover off before and it takes about 10 minutes to get off cause of all the bolts and getting the coil packs off but no need to take the spark plugs out to get the cover off and this is true i believe for all model years.

Can you use the BKR7E's on a stock setup/stock tune or are those 1 step colder?

Those are also gapped at 0.40, so yeah you can.

I'm using those now on a stock tune.

What's the best way to get to the plugs when 2 of the 4 Torx bolts look like this?

That's what I was thinking it was going to come to heh.

Edit: Drilled them out, install was a cake walk, no hick ups. Started up great. Haven't taken it for a spin yet, daughter is still asleep. But I have high hopes! Any difference over stock?

Then, not really.
Those and the AC Delco's are about the same at .40.
The reason people get the BKR7E's over stock, is that they seem more stable at colder steps. Like .32

Is there some extra bit of work that could/should be done to remove the boot on cylinder 4? Being on the far right, there's a lot of extra cables/hoses in the way and doesn't give a lot of room to just pull straight up like the other three, so I think I may have somehow damaged the boot as I'm getting a misfire on that cylinder now.
