Illinois Cobalt Meet
i went to the orland park meet....i dont have a problem with driving...its too far for me because i have other commitments that day so i couldnt drive that far and be back in time so thanks for assuming....
Hi everyone, I was wondering since there is a lack of meets in wisconsin, if I could attend this one. I live in kenosha, wi so im basically in illinois anyway. So just let me know and Ill most deffinitely have to show. I believe that saturday i have to work till 5 so i can try to make it otherwise sunday is perfect.
Does everyone want to do the September 9th car show in Bloomington? I havent heard any response as to where everyone wants, the car show was my idea. Tell me what everyone thinks
I think it would be a good idea. I'll try to make it out if I'm medically cleared by then. (Bad seizure, won't drive until neurologist tells me I can) Besides, I haven't been to a Cobalt meet since March or April and the one I went to was a lot of fun... Give a definite time and place and I'll do my best!
ok why arent you guys (and girls) posting on the other thread for the meet. Its on Sep 10th @ 3pm, location still being decided since I dont want it somewhere we're gonna get hassled by police or kicked out. We have 6-7 people already going, heres the link....

Its going to be in the NW Chicago suburbs so it'll be easy to get there for Chicago people, as well as suburban and wisconsin people.

ChiTownSS the point of this meet is for the entire state to meet, yes its easy for you northern guys to get there but for the rest of the state...pretty hard.
I say Bloomington on the 9th of September. Its about as close to middle of the state as we can get where theres a show and everything. It would be nice to get a meet together with a show to go around. Plus bloomington is only 2 hours (usually a lot less) from downtown Chicago. Peoria guys have about an hour or so drive, and anyone else that want to go is usually within that window.
I know theres a lot more Chicago cobalts (which is obviously expected) but why dont we try to make it easy for everyone to get to and not clear up in Chicago. Thats why I suggested this meet/show.
Honestly if we want a true Illinois meet for everyone (and to try to get the entire Illinois Cobalt Club thing going) lets make it easy for everyone, lets have a central meeting point.
