ITs not a 3 hour drive. ITs more like 2 at most. For me its a one hour drive and in 6 weeks i'll have to do it everyday. Dont wimp out!

Your car can come stock looking, the main point is for everyone to meet everyone before shitty weather starts. MY car will be pretty stock (minus my damn hood that I'm going to bitch at my dealer for) and tomorrow i'm paining my headlights.

As for time, the show is 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Blown is always there and I'm usually there. But for those that dont want to stay late I was thinking we can make an afternoon of it. Come out early, like 1 or 2, look at everyones cars, get good spots, and meet everyone. It would actually be better that way because the last show had over 303 cars.

 

He lives in Crystal Lake; its way up in the boonies with bad roads + bad Lake County traffic.

 

lake county traffic isnt that bad....i lived in lake county for 18 years....

 

Depends where you live I guess. The parts of Lake County I see always have badly-timed traffic lights and miles of backed-up Volvos and SUVs waiting at them.

I like it better here in Dupage.

Why be chicken on a two hour drive? I've driven that a few times and my camber is seriously out, but I still do it. Come on! It'll be fun!

for the record it IS a 3 hour drive for me .... and i already driove 45 mins-an hour every morning at 430 for school..... so dont say im whimping out... sry just abad mood right now and i hate being corrected when im not wrong

I've had my Cobalt for 3 months, and already its been to Wisconsin Dells, Cincinnati, and Iowa City. This weekend will be Kansas City.

Its a great highway cruiser.

mapquest says 142 miles (2 hrs/ 28 mins) from roughly the Elgin area. I don't have a problem w/ that (weather determining). Anyone want to start a cobalt convoy?

 

Officially the state wide meet is in Bloomington, IL at the K's Merchendise parking lot for the Twin City Crusiers car show.

hey central guys, i live about 40 miles south of chicago about 15 minutes off of I57 exit 322. the sunday meet wouldnt be too bad of a drive for you. Im like an hour and 15 from champaign in Grant Park, IL
