Question, if my alternator dies, and when it dies locks up, will that cause the motor to completely not run? I start it up and it goes to 1500 rpms then dies. And the lights get real bright then go dim as **** as it dies... ?

 

false, i am excellent at wiring. The wiring wasn't the issue. the meth nozzle was propping the throttle blade open.

if the alternator locked up, the accesory belt would still spin. You'd be able to smell it and see bits of rubber everywhere. it would run, till the battery died.

 

Well, ****. I don't get it then, my car is just dying right after it gets started. I don't know what to do other than tow it to a dealership and pay for a diagnosis. FML

Tom checked my tune, and it's nothing in the tune, something else is doing it. And I think it has something to do with my squeal coming from one of the pulleys, I just dont know which one it's coming from. I'm guessing alternator because the lights get really bright, then dim and the car dies.

I ******* hate stupid ****. This car and stupid **** goes together like pea's in a pod. My best guess is water in the fuel froze up. Which caused it not to run, because my Gunny was looking at it and told me to start it yesterday, and it just started. Just fine, no problems. FUUUUUUUU

So, I put Heet in it, and it's just fine. Errrr

Still need to find where the squeel is coming from. Hmmm
