i know the brake lights are really dark... its hard to see them during the day, soi'm going to do a little wet sanding, and clear it again so its a thinner coat, and you can see the lights better, or i just need a brighter bulb for the brake lights

Oh, I can understand that. Its cool that you can both agree to do that. Its hard, trust me I know from previous relationships.

Assuming you would be doing the build at your house, you need to look up in the phone book for some tune shops around the place. If it is in a close distance you should be able to drive the car (like a grandma of course) and then have them tune it once the build is done. I may be wrong but the parts will probably have to be on the car before they can tune properly. Or if you want DTP is said to be good at tunning, so we can do it over here, I have a garage we can use, and then you can have it towed there if you like.

Like Eddie said, the build could probably be done in one weekend with more than just me. I know I said a couple weeks, but Im sure me you and Eddie can have it done in one weekend.

Hey, guys.... Talked to SRod007 a few times today.

For the install.... All the (good!!) help that comes his way is GOOD, but, remember that univited helper, named Murphy, will be there to screw it all up. Having been there, done that, too many times, there will be likely some unexpected issue to mess the whole thing up. That you can count on!! Make sure that all the issues are accounted for.

As for the tune.... I've got that covered. I know I've kept a low profile here, but I believe I have a better handle on LE5 tuning more than many others out there, including going to boost.

Hopefully, as Steve has hoped for, a bunch can get together next weekend to get it put together and, if all goes well we can get his car tuned and running!!

Getting ready to head out of town for a few days on a business trip. I'll try to check in here if possible.

Mitch's: 857-5738 --- 2801 Lafayette Blvd, Norfolk Think it cost me $20 to install the bung. It should go between the header/downpipe flange and the cat. Should be at or above level.

When you install your AEM wideband, make sure that the analog output wires (2) are near the console to be able to hook up to the HP Tuners Pro input to log. Just tape off the ends of the wires for now.

Another "gotcha" thought.... Make sure you've got the right harness for the injectors. You can check that beforehand just to make sure the ends are right on both ends.

Suggestion: Just shoot for the blower and related items install this weekend and make sure that's right. Depending on time left, then consider the clutch. The two are unrelated and the clutch can be done later.

One heads-up for ya, though.... HP Tuners does NOT have the capability of "tuning" the driver!!
