you honestly think that I want to just have a 2100 dollar paperweight sitting around so I can look at it instead of drive it? I tried to make sure that all other things (my tune primarily) was straightened out first. I got that now, so it will be installed soon. I still want to do the cooling mods but I don't know if everyone will get together like last time. If I can't do the h/e and dual pass w/option b, then I'll just put on the tvs. If she wasn't my dd, then I'd likely be done by now.

If you can get eddie on Friday, I'll get the beer so we can do it then. I want to get this **** done before I leave in September. This has taken all too long but I've tried to be patient.

 

Next Weekend, as in not this weekend but the next, we MUST... I repeat MUST get together. We need to roll out somewhere, grab a bite to eat, go do something.. like maybe go kart racing or w/e.. and hang out.

It might turn out to be a weekend thing dude. I get off on Friday at 5pm. If Eddie is game, Ill talk to him, but we could do it Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if needed. Do you have transportation for the weekend if it dont get done? And make sure you got ALL the **** you need. That will help it go by quicker.

You don't have to do option-b to have the dual pass set up. Plus, you can always do the option-b later. How can you have a tune straightened out when its not from your car..?? A starting point maybe, but worked out. Come on, get your ducks in a row. And next time you get people together, don't leave them to do the work. I did a majority of the work on my car on the side of the road or my parking space......but this isn't my car.

 

I understand that well, but how long have you been working on cars? This is my first to say I have been working on it. I know how to do things as far as maintenance, but I am not going to just rip apart my car without having a good idea of what I'm doing. And me leaving people to do the work..., I had an mri to go get that I waited for over three and a half weeks. I don't just leave people to work on my car. Ask Ernie how many times I just stand around and do nothing.

My tune has been messed up since I went to New York and got one from paul. I'm not talking about a stage 2 tune, my fueling with the 60's hasn't been right since they were installed. Why would I put on the tvs without getting that fixed first. And I have taken the steps to get my tune straightened out.

You're intelligent enough to figure out that left is loose and right is tight.
You should have seen the first time I took the supercharger off. Then the pulley, **** that was a riot. Ask Will (NightriderCobaltSS), we were all worried our cars wouldn't work.
We did so much reading it wasn't funny. Now, there is more than enough information to do just about anything to this car. Hell, there is even a step by step go by on how to tear into the motor and change the pistons, cams, balance shafts....and a lot more. There are how to's for everything you have to install....detailed too....anyway, I'll stop here.

 

and the big deal here is, if you **** **** up, there's someone close by willing and able to help you of your mess!

Maybe you're right. Maybe I just buy things without reading about them first. Maybe I just enjoy watching things sit in peoples garages because it's fun. Maybe I don't have the right tools but believe that a screwdriver can fix everything. And maybe, just maybe, I want to try to get people together to work on each other's cars, so I can leave in the middle of things and have you just do it.

I think you might be right. But Ernie has helped me out a lot. I have learned many things from him, and would like to continue to learn, plus I don't have the proper tools to do much of what is needed for my car. Please forgive me for trying to get guidance from people that have done the same work before.

You're missing the point....option b is just that, an option, nothing says it has to be done. You really didn't prepare for that not working. And the tune, install it, crank it over and tune it as you go. Those were my points but you totally missed them.

I got you. but do you see how many people are chasing their own tails trying to figure out what's wrong with their tune? I don't want to be one of those. I've added a lot of things to it already, and don't want to have to do a lot of guesswork trying to figure out what got left out. That's what I'm saying. How many on here have cars that don't drive because of moving hastily..., exactly.

I'm not trying to cause any bad blood here, but I know for a fact that there are those in the area that have way more knowledge than me. I learn better when I work with people on something. If I could dedicate time to working on something then I would.

 

I started out trying to be a troll a while back, then I heard about DOC's car so I came to this part of the site to run him. Now Im just chilln and hanging out. Ofcourse I'll throw out some trash here and there, but not looking to cause some internet fanboy drama. hell, I talk trash to Deathscythe and then send him a PM and ask him about his car. even offered to help since I have the same blower on my car.

So when I say your car is slow, and you say no one cares about my car, then that makes us even and life goes on. But in the end, im here just like everyone else, learning about the blower and ways to go faster.

Yeah, I know you talk a lot of garbage but you're not really different than most of us. I just hate getting hurt and having workups all of the time. No time to do anything lately.
