I have been watching the thread for a few days now, more so than I normally would.

I guess the oil would go away if there was nothing to keep it in right?

Smartass! lol.

The guys at m2race are done with the head, they are just waiting for the coolant fitting before they can send it out. I'll post the pictures when I get the chance.

I think that's really up to Joe. The pulley should be a 2.75, and the one that was on there is a 3". I would think that Joe would want to start with the larger pulley and go down from there. Give the guys from m2race a call and speak to dave. He is the one who has been working on the head the whole time. He just wants to confirm things with you before he sends the head out to you.

you should let him tune it. It should be easy for him since your mods probably are equal or less than mine were. No reason why he can't. Just give him some time to heal so he can do it without complaining. lol

I've got a 6" pulley for ya, Danew! Gotta keep you slower than the wagon, ya know!

Seriously, it shouldn't be hard to tune for either. We need to keep an eye on two things, mostly: 1. Keep IAT2 temps reasonable and 2. Watch for KR with more boost. The smaller pulley will result in higher temps, less density and less knock tolerance. As far as gains, it's really a crapshoot. It'd be interesting, after tuning for both first, to set up a dyno session and see how the numbers shake out for both.

What's up guys. I'm back in the saddle again. Finally situated after having one helluva time trying to get my stuff including the cobalt back to VA and into the barracks.

Unfortunatly, like when I first met up with you guys, it's winter and there isn't **** going on. Hopefully, I'm not doing anything when it gets warmer again because I'd to take a drive down to Newport News/ Hampton if anything is going on.

So as usual post up anything that may be going on cause I'm down for anything. It's good to be back in the states!

Edit: And if anyone does the xbox live thing let me know cause I finally got my internet hooked up and my tag is : Army Wulfman

nope, just out to sea and have had our internet secured the last few days. gotta love battle groups.

but i do appoligise knowing now that he was told about it. i'm still not going to leave my car with anyone other then family ever again. i guess it probably just pissed me off because of what happend to my forged motor when i was on my last deployment. my bosses brother pretty much drove it like a daily driver, put 6k miles on it and didnt change the oil on a freshly built motor. bad jew jew. thats what lead to the pre-mature failure of my number 4 cyl rod bearing. froze up on the crank shaft and sent pieces of it threw the front of my block, right where the knox sensor is located.

i'm about to start building another motor, just need to get a junk yard motor and a piston installation kit.

i have everything else, GM rod bearings, Egale rods, wiseco pistons, apr head studs, cometic head gasket. its just a shame i had to buy all this **** again. i just want to beat my bosses brother over his head with my old broken forged rod.

I think tinted lights look best on black cars, and red cars, but i think i might do mine again too.

the chrome ones don't look good at all. The black ones look better with the cars, especially on black or red cars.
