If you haven't been to the Cleveland Auto Show - Go!

Just got back from the Auto Show in Cleveland, it was great for us as the fiancee is looking to buy a new car soon and we've narrowed it down to a few options. Other highlights -

- The Camaro Concept, thing is sweet, have to see it person.
- The Shelby Mustang SVT, pretty awesome!
- Dodge and Jeep have really cool interactive displays, you get to drive a Jeep through a REALLY long confidence course, or do speed and handling tests in SRT Magnums and Chargers - Awesome!

There were some other really cool displays as well. Scion had a great one off the top of my head. Make it there!

I just got back from there a few minutes ago as well. I tell you what, there are some really dumb people around. I was walking by the cobalt ss/sc and overheard this guy say that the car could only get 2 psi from the supercharger, of course I corrected him and he said that it was possible to get 14-15+ psi out of the supercharger. I said whatever when he started talking about wastegates and walked away. Then I was at a supercharged corvette and overheard someone say "Look at that Turbo" I was like do you not know the difference between a turbo and a supercharger. Just some dumb people who think they know their cars. Good show overall. Disappointed not to see the new Malibu, but good show overall. Check it out

Haha, I try to avoid conversations with random dumbasses for exactly that reason.
Hey - where did you get your taillight covers? Did you just paint some tinted ones? That are hot.

No cool Cobalts. In fact I only saw 4 Balts there, an LS, an LT, SS Sedan and an SS/SC.. all of them stock.
You can tell GM was really ridng on the Camaro to generate interest. They didn't even have the new Malibu which was surprising. To be honest I wasn't overly impressed with GM's displays, nor Ford's. Chrysler put a hell of a lot of effort into their stuff though, especially with their Jeep and Dodge divisions - tons of interaction, lots of different model examples.. no SRT4 Caliber though... but the Charger Police cruiser was tight!
I guess the way they may look at it is to get folks in the dealership doors to check out a new Camaro, and they'll walk away with a new Cobalt, HHR or whatever.

And yeah, I'd forgotten about the Lotus! Those bitches are bad. I couldn't imagine sitting with my ass that low the ground.. could you imagine if you hit anything? You'd die, instantly.

I went to the Chicago show and they had the concept balt and 3 other modified ones and the new Malibu. I almost punched the lady that was by the cobalts cuz she was trying to lie to me and my friend.

Yeah, they had dealerships seperate from the actual GM display. I really didn't walk over there, if that's where it was?

It's just kinda irritating to me - GM has the perfect combat for Scion with the Cobalt and HHR but they don't use it to their advantage..

I was also interested to see the redesigned Focus, and didn't.
