yeah your car sounds great!! i have heard it 3 times now. i have the yellow cobalt if you have no idea who i am. i am putting a cat bak exhaust on right now. its a 3" Magnaflow/ZZP exhaust. i will probably have it done mid-way through next week. i cant wait for a cobalt meet soon!! i have really been looking forward to one of those this year!! your car sounds great man!! what exactly is your exhaust set up? i remember you said you did an air box mod at one time and i remember the babmab headers.

haha thats great im glad someone else as had a chance to hear it!
yeah the airbox mod really is just the air well thing i took out, just have a drop in filter till it gets warmer and ill prolly go with injen on their intake.

oh i know dude the meets are always fun i just wish i was more familiar with ppl there i always feel out of place haha. alright so my exhaust is like this:
badmab header
zzp 2.5inch downpipe
2.5inch stock pipe to a 2.5 inch over axle pipe, out to a 2.5 inch magnaflow muffler.

there seems to be a bit of rasp at WOT havent had it figured out yet. but thanks for the feedback lol and yes i know ive see ur cobalt at ur work place afew times

Drew,

The rasp is more than likely the Magnaflow muffler. They are known for that. I like Borla, Dynomax mufflers for their sound. Flowmasters make me think of Mustangs to much.

Now, Magnaflow does make a nice product. I just am not happy with the raspy sound that they have at wot. I have noticed that sound on various cars, from 4 cylinders to v8's.

Also, I do drive mine in the winter. I just wish that it would stay cold so that my Blizzaks would live longer.

That's why i'm not getting blizzaks. I'm getting Michelin x-ice tires, they have a 40,000 mile treadlife warranty so I don't have to worry about that

My Blizzaks are on their third winter. I have about 20,000 miles on them or more with well over half the tread still there.

Michilen makes a nice tire, I just feel they are over priced.

yeah i should have looked into borla some more they have some good mufflers. i was thinking it was the remainder of the stock piping that wasnt up to par with the other aftermarket piping. perhaps i can look for a replacement muffler, its deep but the rasp is annoying. Thanks bill!
as for me with tires, im prolly gonna stick it out with my all seasons, maybe go to Uneeda tire as a last resort.

The epicenter of the quake was in Mcdonald, Ohio. I felt it here in brookfield, which is 20 minutes away. sounded like a jet plane or thunder. felt about the same too. Didn't know it was a quake until the news on TV started blowin up with talk of it.

I'm getting to be fairly convinced that the influx in quakes in this area has to be due to the Marcellus shale projects and the "fracking" that is being done. This **** needs to stop so we can prove it.
