So what do you guys think I should do? I currently have a magnaflow muffler at the beginning of my catback. Im kinda over the sound of it and not sure which way I should take it...

Should I buy another muffler to put at the end of the exhaust? If so which should I get, another magnaflow or something different?

OR

Should I just make it a side exit and be done with it?

1. Donate your stock catback to me
2. If you want quieter, put another muffler on the back of the exhaust. If you want moar loud, just dump it out the side with a flat rectangular tip.

Thats what Im leaning towards, but if there is a nice deep sounding muffler out there thats not $250+ like the Greddy's or A'pexi's, I may try it out.

You live with Bill right? I already got part of a stock s/c exhaust from him. I need the over axle part with muffler and tip. from where it reduces to 2.25, back. My axleback is just not the sound I'm going for. I want to be quiet and I will likely be returning the car back to stage2 this year. I already have a stock s/c dp. and my header isnt worth the trouble of taking off. If I can't get the TC exhaust off someone I might talk to you about that.

Arent who supercharged? lol. I am TVS blown and I run a high flow cat. I know the exhaust isn't the exact same as mine but the hangers and bends are the same. Only difference is the 3-bolt flange vs my 2-bolt flange. TC exhaust is 2.5" all the way through and has a straight-through muffler It will fit if I cut off the flanges and use a band clamp. Someone said they sound good on the s/c cars but I never heard one yet.

If it's not cut on a bend I won't even need to weld it. Just clamp it. I no haz welder

I just want to be quiet again. I don't like being heard long before I'm seen, at least in a Cobalt.

Got all or at least most of my tuning done by Cory(Thanks man!) yesterday. Fuel trims were all wack when we started with the trifecta that was on the car. But got all the fuel trims straightened out and car runs awesome now! Pulls way harder and more boost comes in earlier. Runs alot more solid now and makes the car so much more fun to drive
