Because I don't baby my car. I beat the **** out of it.

That and when I first got the hurst, I had to constantly take it off. First it was because the screws stripped the shift mount bracket, and I had to ghetto rig it, then I had to take it off for cleaning the shift boot and middle console pieces, then I had to take it off to replace the shifter cables, then more cleaning, then I had to replace the mount bracket because it practically shattered, then more cleaning, then I put a new boot on.

So it took some abuse.

Also ZZP 3" intake tubing should be here today.

And might I add the typical general maintenance....plugs, alignment & balance, fuel filter, new supercharger. First AutoX of the year is this Sunday.

I havent gone in a while, everytime I try to go it got moved to a new location wither that week or the week before and I didnt find out about the move until i get there. So well see where it get stationed at this year LOL

i only went once when they had it haha. it was just nice to have something to watch, because the car show part of it was dead that that party center or whatever it was.

 

i will throw this out there... ive been around this "scene" a long time and I think its declining miserably, makes me sad

yep, it's all turned into hillbillies with trucks, or at least it has around here. But yes, the scene is declining rapidly. I blame a lot of it on the fact that people just don't have the money for it, though the attitude of the police towards us, and increasing emissions checks aren't helping either.

its a hideaway plate but i never really put it down haha. kinda like it.

and no coilovers for me, everything around cleveland is just too bad. i dont feel like loosing my lip/bumper on a driveway. and roads are just way too bumpy for a DD.
