wondering why there not on there yet

My god damn driver side window switch stopped working. FIgures, as soon as it starts getting warm out, I can't roll down my driver side window any more.

 

Did it quit working for all the windows or just the drivers side window from that switch?

 

Just the driver's side from that switch. Double checked the harness a few times (going to the switch) to make sure it was plugged in.

Not the power window fuse, otherwise all of the switches would stop working I'd assume.

 

I would check the window regulator and/or motor first. The switch is usually very dependable, unless you have had water get into it.

I would rather have it happen this time of year, it really sucks to when it happens in the winter, I know this for a fact.

 

It more sucks because it's stuck up. I'm fine with it being stuck up in the winter. Not in the summer.

 

What year is your car. I'll pull up a tech sheet on it

 

Thats what I got so far. It's an alternating current. dk blue +, brown - to go up, vice versa to go down. If you test those and everything is kosher, it's a bad regulator in the door.

 

I don't have a meter to test current. I do have a spare regulator though.

I'll check the connections though.

Did anyone else's stock boost gauge ever go out. Mine still lights up at night but doesnt move from where it sits When the car is off.(15 I think) I removed the a pillar a few times now to check the wiring and I'm not sure which goes to what and I have no clue how to fix it. Any ideas/solutions?

 

dude ur in kentucky. it would take 4+ hours to get down there lol

You mean install my springs that morning and then drive down there? That sounds sweet!

This all pivots on whether or not I can go, because like I've mentioned in other threads I'm moving that Friday and I need to get everything done that day or else I can't go

 

dont forget to get a alignment before you go too haha

 

i was thinking you would have that stuff done before you got over.

you dont need an allignment, ive been driving for like 6 months now w/o one and im sittin on my tires

 

i got an alignment after the springs and it was a waste. my toe was off like a tenth of a degree and my camber was at -1 on both sides, so they fixed the toe and sent me home.

 

Would they do anything for an 05 LS? I'm assuming they would.
