Haha, I'd have to agree. Saw a Silver STi in Kent the other day, the guy made it a point to roll down his window in the rain and wave.

 

I hardly ever see anyone when I drive the Cobalt. But when I do, they just think that I have a regular sedan. I have seen a few others that did wave or flash, but that has been a while.

I did mess with BeradSS one day, still don't think he knew what was behind him

What is funny, if I see someone, I am out with the family driving my wife's car. I have seen drew a few times this way, I know he would not see me in the other car.

 

I'm not an SS so I basically just get ignored by everyone

 

its not that i ignore regular cobalts, just when i see them i dont pay attention as much just because there are so many of them lol. hard to acknowledge a cobalt every 10 seconds lol

 

Starting to find that there are a lot of riced out balts that aren't on CSS.net.

ive only seen 4 drinving around here a yellow ss sc that i see around austintown and boardman and ive waved to him a few times and he drives around with his fogs on haha(its ok i do it too) , a black ss tc with the ss logo on the lower right side of the grille i think he works at the leather biker apparell store(if it still is one) on 224 across from sheets in canfield, and another black ss tc with a dark gray stock rims and that was in boardman. and a red ss sc in canfield thats not me lol

 

Yesterday was such a great day. I finally had my summer wheels and tires installed, finished at 6 pm. The car looks good, the wheels are not to dark.

But here is the great thing, while out doing things yesterday in the truck, I had a shackle for the rear springs fail. Sounded like a 12ga shotgun going off. At first I could not figure out what it was, found it when I got home. Just more work for me to try and do.

 

idk why i never asked you bill, im sure you have spring compressors? perhaps i could arrange another meeting with you lol

Drew, I do not have this type of spring compressor yet. I have not taken a strut apart yet, so this would be new ground for me too. There is a good chance that I will be doing struts on my wife's car soon, so I will have to buy some.

I do have to get the truck fixed first, as it is now out of commision.

If one of the other guys can help, that would be great.

Oh, and busy. I hand washed my car today for the first time since like October. I have no idea where all that tar and crap came from. I will need a good day to detail this thing. And the inside is bad, from driving it all winter. I also need to build my retro's, as my left headlight is now fogging up.

Ok, here is a question for everyone. What color should I paint my headlights? I was thinking of trying the black chrome look or doing a color match of silver.

 

Swapping springs is actually really easy. You should have no trouble figuring it out

oh its alright RS, ive just been getting jittery cus its almost meet season and i have mods still stting around in the garage, and im STILL waiting on the over axel pipe. its been a little over a month now.
