NE Ohio Thread FTW
It also is going change how torque transfers from motor to trans. The more it grips, the harder it is on your trans.

Even though I'm not big into 1/4 mile, I can give it a go.
You'd be surprised. I seen some one AutoX in a Nissan Versa; Completely stock. It's possible.
Superfly does have AutoX, but they are a group of low-educated morons. They have no classing system.
So for instance, you have 530AWHP EVOs racing against 2.2l Cobalts.
NORA uses classes and handicaps to make things fair. That way you're racing against people who are of equal skill and equipment level.
Also, Superfly doesn't understand that you will lift tires and sometimes the back end will break loose. I've actually seen them yell at people for lifting the back tires during a high-speed, sharp corner. They have no idea what they are doing. But they're inexpensive, and they are a little more local than NORA. But you won't get half the experience or entertainment at a place that offers next to no competitiveness.
Look at Superfly's website. (good luck finding it)
Now look at NORA's
Autocross in Cleveland and Akron Ohio | Akron Sports Car Club Racing Series
And in addition...
The Rules | Autocross in Cleveland and Akron Ohio
If you want to AutoX, do it right. And do it professionally with people who know what they're doing, and are actually prepared.
