If theres anyone near elyria oh that has HPTUNERS software we need to hook up and tune my car i would pay someone alittle to get that done. any help would be great.

hey whats up man im Steve'o im from Lorain. i got a 2.4 SS. im commin up next friday back to ohio cause im droppin my wife off at her house.. im doin the army thing in Virginia i got a friend who might come with me in our cobalt Club and hes got HP tuners. if i can convince him 2 come with me ill let u know.

 

I might be up there but from what i see u only have a Cai. Do you have a dyno graph or a Wideband gague so you can monitor a/f ?

 

i have alot of parts lying around new. i have the CA header, gm sport exhaust, Ca DP should come tomorrow. and im hoping on getting this guys injectors or harness one of the two by friday this week. and if its the injectors ill just buy the harness from gmpartsdirect for 53. and if i get that by friday doubtful and weather is nice doubtful then im up for a tune this week. anywhos ill let you know how everything is coming in.

yes!! i love my 2.4 the "Red Rocket" im doin the injector swap also pretty soon.. also we will be conducting an experiment to C if we can put a "Saab Turbo" in there. since its all ecotec. the turbo manifolds already proven to fit now its all a matter of placement and cost .. will it fit? and if so how much?

 

you should be pushing out over 225 hp with that easy.

were hopin.. this is still an experiment. we dont know much about the turbo world.. but out of all the friends i hang with only 1 other 2.4 all the rest are S/C oh and i cant forget our token 2.2.

 

Hey man, if you haven't already, checl out www.j-body.org (Cavy/Sunfire forum) you'll find alot of helpful info about doind the SAAB swap on other eco's there. It won't get you all the way, but between that and HPtuners I'd say you'd be looking good.

Toughest part would probably be fabbing charge tubes, other than that most stuff will bolt up.

cause ill hav e to swap out both manifolds again and a bigger exhaust means no more GMPP borla

 

Yeah I read your mods, but didn't wanna mention that you'd hafta swap some of em to go turbo, lol. Oh well I'm sure when that time comes you'll be able to find a buyer for most of em
