Now, Hawk makes rear pads for this car. The rear brakes look like the same from the 07 SS and Malibu's. The 07 SS and 07 Malibu are the same, I know that for a fact.

The rotors looked decent, so a light turning would work for now. The only thing that I am worried about was the good pads that these places have could hurt the old rotors fast.
so getting new rotors for the rear is going to be necessary? the NTB guy said i would need them, at least the rears, replaced.

If you want to do rotors, then all of them should be replaced. The fronts do about 70% of the braking. Contact R1 Concepts through here, they have nice rotors. By what their website says, fronts from about $71 and rears from about $53. My neighbor has their Eline on his Mustang, and they are good. The blank rotors should be fine.

For pads, we could order them from Rock Auto or local.

I will try and call you this afternoon.

Drew, I have a friend at work that is looking into pricing of parts for you. If you can hold off, he might be able to get you a really good deal on everything. I will try and call today, work was bad yesterday. I should know more this morning.

Drew, I will give my friend a call tomorrow to see what is up. He said that his friend was looking into this the other day. I had to work a 12 mid night shift Thursday, so I was a bit tired when I was done.

OK, sounds good. Just let me know when everything gets in. As for the brake fluid, I will check my stock. I believe that I have some good snythetic stuff here, unopened.

OK, lets see how this weekend will work for this. My garage was a nice 32°F (0°C) yesterday morning. That will make it really fun for this.
