NW Ohio Performance Shop
Okay... I'm getting pissed off here. I need a Race/Performance shop to install my Cams, Valve Springs, & Pistons... possibly Dyno Tune as well, because I will probably need to switch to 60# Injectors.
My first choice was INTENSE... but they don't return phone calls & I've heard a lot of bad stories about their tuning abilities.
Second choice was Precision Autosports in Dayton... they don't answer their phone whenever I call.
SO... I am looking for a Performance Shop to install this stuff that is within 350 miles (1 tank of gas) of Findlay, OH - 45840. So pretty much all of Western Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, & Canada (All the way to Toronto - JBP is a last resort).
SOMEBODY HELP ME!

try victory engines there in cleveland 216 251 7157 if no one picks up keep tryin theres no secretary. ask for ray he will be able to do your motor work and he will send u to a really good tuner if wanted.
I don't know about Victory. I have never dealt with them personally but a buddy of mine had his 99 ZX2 motor built by them and it blew up in like 4 months. Put a nice dent in one of his new JE pistons. They said he was detenating and some other crap. He had a wideband and A/F was pretty damn good at all times. Also when he tore the engine down he noticed it looked like he had piston slap. He had 20 over pistons so he thinks they over bored the block causing the slap. Like I said never dealt with them but I would check them out before you make the drive. BTW it was $5500 down the drain!!
I will probably have my motor built by Intense. They do not lack in tuning!! They have tuned over 3000+ cars more than any of their competition. Their mail order tune is only a baseline tune which is why so many people complain. Everyones car is different. Its hard to make a mail order tune perfect. Do not under estimate Scott's tuning abilities. Don't forget Rob's car was Intense sponsored and had Intense parts. A lot of people have been having trouble getting ahold of Intense. Just keep calling and e-mailing. Next time I talk to Todd I will inform him of this thread and have him contact you.

if ur buddy blew his motor he probabbly fucked it up himself. victory has been building motors for over 40 years and ray knows his **** he has a full machine shop and builds motors all day everyday.ive been to intense and they arent bad people but there service isnt the best.good luck w/ whatever u decide to do
also when u detonate your engine the heat causes your pistons to expand witch can cause it to scratch and or look like piston slap. did he bring it back to victory and have ray look at it. the reason i ask is cause if it was his **** up he would have fixd it.

Don't know for sure but last I heard was he called him and explained everything and said there was nothing he could do. (This was close to a year ago so I don't remember everything) I'm not saying they don't know what they are doing. Just kind of hard to blow a built motor which was tuned by CRT if im not mistaken. Its a ford so its going to happen anyways. Also in my post I never once said don't go to Victory just stated what happened to my buddy and that he should check into them before making the drive.
