There is a lot more room at Norwalk or the Brunswick spot than there is at 42.

 

hey guys if you want heres the thing we can go to 42 and if theres not much room we can just drive down the road which is 42 north about .5 half a mile up 42 to my grandpas huge land plot where our storage tanks are for propane its our sister plant to our main plant in lagrange. its always open and since its partly my buisness ill allow everyone to stop there or wait or what not. so if anyone still wants to go to 42 its fine by me. our plant can be a small resting point for lunch or tuning or whatnot. if that is cool with everyone its fine by me cuz its clean there not muddy or ****.

ok heres the plan dragway 42 at 11 im not sure if it can be saturday for us cuz there doing a bracket race for money. test and tune is on fridays. so im gonna call them monday and see whats goin on. and then i will be deciding if im going.

i will call monday but if i read correctly on saturday at 42 is some sort of bracket race which we cant enter i do believe correctly its for some 1k pot money and i dont think anyone wants to chip in on that. and i know fridays are test and tune. but i will find out. since no one else is

my grandpas shop is .5 miles down the road for a quick stop in case no room at strip which is true.

Heres the deal guys i called them just now and as for saturday the 26th. there having bracket series races for a purse box no box i dont think we qaulify for that. but they are having test and tune on saturday. entry fee applys 12$ for car and driver for all day event.

I hope its nice that day. they are also having the same thing on sunday i believe but it will be alot more busy. i will work on norwalk and call them now thanks man i believe more people are gonna go to 42 cuz its more centrally located and closer to most people so ill work on it thanks.


Just got the info on norwalk or as its new name summit raceway. there is no test and tune on the 26th at all not till june. they have points chase and junior dragsters going on that day. so norwalk is out of the question and its more expensive.

SO IT LOOKS LIKE DRAWAY 42 IT IS GUYS. BE THERE AT 2 OR 3 IM GONNA TRY AND GET THERE EARLY AND COORDINATE PEOPLE GOSH!! we can do some cuisin even though its in the middle of nowhere lol. my grandpas shop is just down the road.

I posted the times. it "says" it opens at 4pm which seems late so i might drive down there around lunchtime cuz im only 35 mins away from there. and talk to them. but expect to be there 2hrs b4 they open at 4pm so that way we get an idea of what to do you think. but saturday isnt all day test and tune either. they are also having bracket races.

 

We can meet somewhere close at 1 or 2 and hang out b4 the gates open.

ok heres a meet spot location number one just .5 miles up there road my grandpas lot from dragway 42 keep going north or east the road is angled and on the north side with big propane tanks is my grandpas lot or option 2 is.

Well, I would love to come, but I'm not going to be able to make this one. Just started a new job and I'm short on gas cash!

funny thing to me is, i never went to car shows of drag races or nothing with cars until got the cobalt

 

Is 42 still a **** hole of a track?? Do any of you know?? I know a few years ago when I was drag racing motorcycles regularly, it had holes in the track!!

 

my boss talk to somebody down there and they are going to court in september because they tryed to get the track fixed and the company that did it messed it up worse. So A. they are getting it fixed right or B. that are getting like 100 grand back. so im thinkin nexy year will be good.

then everyone just get off at 71 and go north on 301 till you come right into town which is west salem and thats 42 right there. everyone meet at the IGA grocery store on the northwest corner of 301 and 42 if your coming from 301 south from 71. you cant miss it. they have a semi big parking lot around the side. il be there at 1230 to talk to some peeps at the track. and for sure staying all day to race i might have to put down on some SC's lol.
