Verticle adjustment

Anyone here know how to turn the adjust *** WITHOUT using the phillps head..won't fit in.
I think someone said you can use a flat head from ABOVE and turn it? I don't want to break it! If so, what directions (inboard vs outboard) move up and down?

I JUST happened to have a set of these from Sears and they worked GREAT in adjusting the headlight beam.

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...o=3&blockType=

Id recommend purchasing a set of these before installing the headlights to make adjusting them easier.

Yeah that's nice. I actually used a very small screwdiver (3" overall with small head) to slip into the *teeth* and it moved easily from above.

Question for the vendor, reiterated.

Is there any sort of film layer on these? The reason why i ditched my first generation Projectors was because the lens had a fine film or coating that began to peal off after about 6 months... and they looked HORRIBLE. (the company refused to cover them)

If so, is there any problem with it pealing off?
If not (well if not is a plus so nothing really to put here.)

I haven't noticed any kind of film on these. Sitting out in the Texas sun and running the lights all the time we haven't had any problems with peeling.

My car is a 2.4 sport. Never had a lip

As to the durability mine are still looking great minus the stress cracks but that is believed to be from my lights being one of the early sets sold.

Need to get my purchase info and get ahold of depo direct still.

I'm a little confused by HID's still...I read some of the sticky about HID's, but not the entire thing...for DDMTuning.com's slim kit...is that basically plug and play? Just select H7 type of bulb, bulb color (5000k for me), and 35 watt. Do I need the HID harness or Error eliminator? What all needs to be done if I buy that HID kit? Like I asked, is it plug and play or do I need to splice/wire it up...also do I need anything else or is everything included that is needed to get them working?

I want to pick up a set of these headlights and go straight to HID for the normal lights. Also, I know I need to pull the DRL fuse since my car is 07, but when pulling the DRL fuse, does that affect the auto headlights at all for at night? Do I manually have to turn my lights on and off then? Only reason I ask is it's become habit to not bother and will take time to get used to doing that again...lol.

To run HID's on these all you need to do is buy the correct bulb size for the projectors. Then the only cutting you need to do is a cut through the rubber access grommet to run the HID wires through. So its plug and play minus one cut per size.

If your running the 35w kit you dont need the error eliminator kit or the harness kit.

And yes your auto headlights will still work (that actually irritates me as I like to have control over it)

the stock hi beam bulbs are actually pretty damn bright. And I cant remember lowbeam size. As I ordered both my hid kits at the same time (1 was h7 the other H11) since I did the lowbeams and driving lights at the same time.
