Modern Performance is OPEN !! (Hurricane Ike hit Houston!)
Modern Performance is OPEN !! (Hurricane Ike hit Houston!)
As most of you may already know, Hurricane Ike hit Houston as a category 2, about 2 mph away from being a category 3, with 110mph winds.
Right now, 90% of the city of Houston is out of power, telephone lines are down, trees are down everywhere, almost all of the traffic lights in town are out, we have no gas, etc. Houston is slowly but surely making a recovery though, and our city employees and federal govt is working hard to restore the city back to normal!
HOWEVER, Modern Performance is FINE ! Our building is fine, our inventory is fine, and all of our employees are good!
We are running on a generator right now, and we have ALL of our business lines up, all of our computers are up, we are BACK IN business!
Fedex wont have any pickups today, they will be picking up tomorrow and resuming normal schedules for shipping tomorrow.
During this time, packages might be delayed a day or two, and we appreciate your support, and your business.

I want to stress that some of our employees (including myself) havent had showers in 2 days, have NO electricity to run our air conditioning and are sleeping with 80-85 degree temperatures at night, limited food and gasoline.
Even with all that, we have about 80% of our staff here, working hard to get all emails answered, all questions answered, and get everything ready to ship off tomorrow.
Myself and my staff are all very dedicated to you; our important customers.
