This is the new hood we've been talking about ! Its the new CF SS style hood from IPP.

We test fitted it on our Cobalt SS project car, here are pics !











We will start stocking these in about 3-4 weeks, pricing will be about $579 for this hood plus freight delivery costs.

that looks good. sits perfectly flush. how much do they weigh?

 

Stock hood weights in at 32 lbs, this one weights 18 lbs, so you save 14 lbs with this hood !

Yes it does fit flush ! Its a great fitting piece !

 

Looks nice from what I can see, especially on a silver or black cobalt.

Is it possible to take some pictures from directly in front?

anyone good with photoshop wanna put that on an sunburst orange cobalt? Id love to see what it looks like ebfore I buy it.

 

The vents are open, and when the car is sitting still, after being run hard you can feel the hot air rising from the vent. So, yes it is a functional hood.

 

The underhood bracing is fiberglass, painted flat black. The top portion is real carbon fiber though.

Yes you can paint them.

Yes it will fit an LS...it will fit any Cobalt.
