Superchips Programmer-Cobalt Turbo - 17 hp/36 lbs of torque at wheels gain !

We took our 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo to the dyno, and did before and after testing with the Superchips power programmer.

Within 4-5 minutes, with no special tools, we gained 5 psi across the board, and 17 hp, 37 lbs of torque at the wheels. Now, after the dyno we realized that the oil level was not only low but seriously past due for an oil change so we figure we realistically gained about 20-22 hp and 40 lbs of torque at the wheels. This is all with just intake, downpipe and exhaust too !

Stock boost level - just about 15 psi

Superchips Programmer new boost level - just about 20-21 psi

Now our car feels much more peppy and we're losing traction in first, second and third! Car feels GREAT !

No one has posted feedback yet, however I can tell you that we have great success with our 09 Cobalt Turbo with the superchips programmer.

The car feels GREAT with the extra 5-6 psi of boost !!

Not trying to knock a vendor or product but...

Since they did do a dyno...did they do a sheet with the wideband readings? I mean any programmer can go into a cars computer and raise boost pressure because most stock turbo'd cars wastegates are controlled by the computer itself.

I was just curious.

At WOT the car did a 13.0 A/F before and 12.9 after the Superchips tune.
