I have a 08 Cobalt that was used for marketing by Eaton when developing the TVS Supercharged LSJ. It now has 20,000 mile on it. I've done a few upgrades, tune, brakes exhaust and rear sway bar.I put slicks on it and run it at road course events a few times every year.

 

Post some pics of the engine compartment. It looks like an LNF body. What motor does it have? Does it have the LNF suspension & brakes?

 

It's all LNF early built. Had an identical LSJ that was used as a test mule and made changes to that car to compare against this one. When changes were made to the test mule then GM personal would drive the two Cobalt's and compare the performance. They were trying to deciding on offering an updated supercharge TVS version that was comparable to the LNF turbo. I did a lot of the work on the 2.0L turbo cyl head for GM.

 

I notice the "SS" on the dash. I know the 09's did not have that, but the 07's did. Did all 08's have it?

See curious to see some pictures of the engine compartment. I'm assuming it had the brembo brakes.
