09 Cobalt SS/TC

Starting off here brand spankin new! I have a 09 Cobalt SS/TC Red 59K miles, COMPLETELY stock, chose to get one this way due to the fact that there is a 50/50 chance you will get something decent if its already modded and you don't know the dude. I will see about getting some pics taken, like I said its all stock, nothing special right now. Hopefully I will get a downpipe, CAI, and catback really soon.

No need for catback. Spend that money on a tune.

I actually PM'd Sunburst_ss for info on a tune, so hopefully ill get something back for that soon.
Reason for the catback is I mainly want a little more noise, not really going for power, I may just swap out the muffler with a magnaflow or something. Just got the car and doing some brainstorming...

Welcome. Ya if you are going with a CAI you need a tune to adjust the fuel trims

Put off the catback for now brah. You might just be happy with the sound of an intake/downpipe(Big diff). Also there are Forge BPV/VTA upgrades(cheap $150) that will also produce pleasure sounds.

I once had a loud exhaust supercharged car. And now a quiet exhaust turbocharged car. I prefer hearing the intake/engine/Bpv and a quiet exhaust. Turns way more heads and you get that wtf eye brow instead of the sigh angry bee's nest eye brow.

I highly recommend a catless zzp downpipe. You'll get noticeable power increase and you'll get the perfect sound increase i have an 09' SS aswell

Thanks for all the help guys! Good info floating around. I am not new to mechanics in any way, just new to the forced induction side, not because I wasn't interested, money was never in the right spot. As far as the exhaust goes, I definitely DO NOT want obnoxious bee buzzing exhaust, that pisses me off most from these honda boys with straight pipes, "yeah, good for you, sounds like ****" So, you guys recommend a catless ZZP DP? I was planning on doing the intake also, that's always been my first "go-to" bolt-on mod for my other vehicles. Has anyone done the angled 02 bung and actually gotten away without the CEL coming on?? If it does, thats not an issue, ill just clear it out with a tune, just thought I'd ask. As far as pics, we have had rain for the past 3 days, and she is crazy dirty, supposed to clear up by tomorrow so hopefully I can get some decent shots in.
