2009 colbalt no start no crank.

Hey guys need some help here I'll give you.some details and what transpired before it eventually stopped starting. I have a 2009 chevy colbalt. Ran fine no issues. Then one day got very cold I went to start it turn key all lights come on fine heater brights radio everything electrical works on car but don't get anything when I turn key. So It would start if I messd with starter or wires for a little bit. Sometimes would start ri fht up sometimes would take awhile. But could.get it started by stomping on floor or messing with wires to starter and crank sensor. So one day I couldn't get it started and broke down and went and bought a brand new starter. Now before I replaced starter it would intermittently starr for about 3 months. Installed new starter and same issue. So when I jump the starter it just spins. When I splice a wire into ignition plug in on starter and touch it off battery post with key turned forward it will crank but doesn't want to start. Got it started 3 times in one night after a buddy cleared all the codes. I juice to ignition switch. How can I bypass this or get this to start.

Don't hack it. Stop throwing parts at it and get it diagnosed.

Value your time and pay a mechanic. Three months of intermittent starting sounds like such a pain in the ass.

Sounds to me like the ignition switch is failing. Do yourself a favor and get it diagnosed properly before you totally screw something up.
