Hello fellow speed nuts. I am 36 a car guy and a father of 2. Had many sports cars over the years( mostly twin turbo Supra's) but my most recent one was a garage queen. Sold it about 7 years ago when I lost intrist from lack of use and my wife was due with my son.

Been looking for a good sport compact car that I can daily drive and stumbled upon the Cobalt SS. Very intristed in picking one up, hopefully a low milage 4 door near me in north N.J.

How about you any forum people from the NewJersey area?

there is a regional section in the fourms, you might find more people near you in there. Get the turbo (2008-2010) there faster and better in my opinion, but the supercharged ones have a lot of aftermarket mods to make them faster.

 

I"ll check the regional section thanks. Good info to keep in mind about the different models. I"m just looking for a few reliable bang for the buck mods nothing crazy. Currently looking at the classified section maybe I"ll find something there.

If you want a SS that's a sedan not a coupe you have to get a 2009 (not sure if there are any 2010 sedan SS's or not). It's the faster model anyways the 2008-2010 SS.
