Hey guys, I may not drive a cobalt but I am looking to have a cobalt motor in my '95 Saturn Sl2 withing the next three months. I was hoping to get some feedback on a few of the parts I need (I know what I need I just need to know compatibility) and some input! Thanks guys!

I was thinking putting the LE5 in, question wise the only thing I have at the moment is dealing with subframes. I want a maunal transmission in my project, I thought I read that the autos were slightly tilted so I'd need a manual specific one. Am I correct? And is the same transmission used between the 2.0, 2.2, and 2.4 or any combo of two?

 

And I was also wondering if the 2.2l's and the 2.4l shared the Getrag F23? From what I read they are compatible, Am I correct?

 

You are correct on the transmission. F23 used on 2.2 and 2.4 manuals the 2.0's had the F35.
