Finally bought 08 TC/SS

After looking at multiple Cobalts I finally purchased a 2008 Cobalt SS. Victory red with a little under 58,000 miles on the odometer. It was completely stock and had been very well taken care of with maintenance records. Previous owner spared no expense when something needed done.
I have already had a tune performed on the car and will follow with cold air intake and piping. I am beyond impressed with the performance of the car. This car will only be an occasional weekend fair weather driver. I am looking forward to many years of ownership and fun.
I look forward to reading and learning everything there is to know about these cars. I have no doubt that there is a lot of knowledge contained in this site. Will I be able to contribute?? I hope so!

We used a program from HP tuners. A good frien of mine has access to the software etc. I've known him for approx 20 years, he's very trustworthy and smart when it comes to cars. Totally trust him. I didn't go super aggressive. I don't want to blow anything up.

And thanks for the welcomes.

Welcome. You honestly don't have to worry about anything other than clutch if on stock turbo. These cars can handle a ton. A lot more than most people are willing to believe too.

Welcome! You'll enjoy the Cobalt a lot. The potential is practically unlimited. Keep in mind you'll need your tune adjusted after you install your intake.

Yes.. I've been reading about the intakes. It looks like a K&N will be ordered soon. Also looks like the tune may have to be adjusted (fuel trim). I'm learning here lol while being careful.
