OK, that makes sense. So i guess I need to find a way to autozone and have battery tested??? Also does the battery have to be acdelco (like everything else) r will aftermarket battery suffice

For today, and to get you running again the first thing to address is the battery and/or charging system. First, need to get the car to turn over. Second, need it be at full voltage to trouble shoot the misfire code. Remember, the misfire code could be caused by low voltage, so we have to do first things first. If the battery will not take a charge that's the first (and most obvious) place to look.

Exactly, and any correctly sized battery will work regardless of brand. :
He's not saying the fuel pump is the problem. What he is trying to tell you is you can take your receipt from the fuel pump you bought and from the actual work done to it and take it to the dealership and they should give you your money back.

OK i think I will try Walmart cuz i tried having it jumped and it jus wouldn't turn over no matter how much power was given
another thing you can check for the misfire once you get you battery issue straightened out, is the #1 injector wire will sometimes rub and short out near the alternator or upper radiator hose. I believe there's a service bulletin on it.

Yes, that's where you need to start. Any properly sized battery will work. If your battery tests out OK then you need to check your connections and ground strap, then your alternator, in that order.
With the electrical system in good order then we can proceed to checking the misfire code if indeed the code continues to happen. There is just as good a chance that it goes away as there is that it continues.

Ok, two different things. The reimbursement on the pump is for another day, but you should be able to get some money back on that.

With bad batteries we have seen all kinds of things. I had security light problem etc.
Also many have misfire issues. Hence your P0301. So let us know when you put a new one back in. Then we can help diagnose again.
Can you look at the old battery and see if it's the original?

Some Costcos can handle it too. If there is a Batterys Plus in your area you can try that as well.
