Good to be back in an ecotec powered car!

What's up all. My name is Mike and I just recently purchased an 06 SS/SC. I must say it feels great to finally be back behind the wheel of an eco powered car. Had an 03 turbo cav a while back and since have gone through a few different cars. I'll try to get some pics up later. For now just a little info about the car and my future wishlist for it.

It is an 06 SS/SC G85, with about 88,000 miles. Unfortunately it is yellow, but it's starting to grow on me. The recaros are some of the comfiest seats I've been in.

Some very near future plans are to get all the vinyls off and despoiler it. So if some one in the Slc, ut area has a spoilerless trunk and is willing to swap, I'm all ears. If not ill be pulling it and plugging some holes. Are these spoilers worth anything, not looking for much, just curious if I should try to sell or just scrap. I may be looking to do a debadge also, but I'll probably leave the gm tags and the sc decal on the back.

I believe my boost gauge is broken, so that is very first on the list. Gonna go with a prosport amber boost gauge. Mine currently acts really wacky. Idles at about 10 inches of vacuum and will sometimes go positive, but on to about 2 psi.

Was also looking at getting a cosmos racing shifter, as the previous owner did a hack install job on some cheap aftermarket knob. I've heard good reviews on the Cosmo, and the one in my cav was okay.

Then it's onto my hopefully one day list. Looking for a solid, reliable 250ish whp.

Plans include an intake, header, downpipe, catback. Would like some suggestions for these. Also a nice mellow catback would be favorable. Then its off to tune, pulley(probably 2.8 or 2.9), cooling mods, injectors and the like.

Suspension is planned but I know little to nothing about these cars and there setups. Suggestions very welcome, also any info is awesome. What's available? Was thinking coils, but would definitely settle for a nice spring/strut combo. All bushings will be done as well as probably ttr motor and trans mounts.

Which brings us to brakes. Would love brembos. But will more than likely settle for a good pad, line, fluid combo. I do have a few quick brembo questions though. I've read there bolt on as long as the wheels clear, correct? LNF rear brakes worth the money? And do lnf wheels bolt up to the lsj without any crazy spacers or knuckle swaps?

One final question. Been outta the tuning game for a few now. Who are the good lsj vendors and parts makers?

One more quick q, can I upload photos directly from my phone or.do they need to be hosted elsewhere?

Yeah assumed that about the brakes, especially since I'm just looking for a fun daily. But man those brembosare sexy!! What about the lnf wheels? I know they're probably not the cheapest option, but I think there great looking wheels and assuming fairly plentiful with guys upgrading there ss/tc cars. If they don't fit I'm more than sure there's plenty of awesome wheels out there. May even go for a good looking 17, for tire cost savings.
