Hi y’all. I have a 09 Chevy cobalt and it’s making these creaky noises when the car is driving and you turn the wheels. Also does it if you’re at a red light and turn the wheel left to right .

Could be upper strut mounts but hard to tell without hearing it. Is it loud enough to take a video?

It sounds like her tire is rubbing on the wheel well, or a squeaky spring

The car braking, sounds like a pad at the wear line. If you're moving your steering wheel back and forth at the stop that's doing that (can't tell from the video), it almost sounds like a combo of the power steering going out and the intermediate shaft clunking. If you're rubbing your tire, you'd notice the damage in the fender well and/or tire wear pattern.

I've never had upper strut mounts go bad so don't know what it sounds like but would guess it is either that or something in your steering driveline. With how loud it is in the cab it almost seems like it is something with your steering driveline on the cab side like prof said maybe something with power steering. Do you feel any abnormal feedback from the steering wheel?
