I have a 06 chevy cobalt 2.2 and I have know idea whats going on with it and seems like no one else does either, so my brother put me onto the site.

My car is not blowing cold air when I a driving on the streets it will blow but none of it is cold air all hot air but the moment I jump on the freeway/highway it will turn cold I have tried filling it up with Freon to the proper amount then recently I I opened my coolant tank and their was a sticky residue in it. can any one tell me if these two problems are connected or two different problems with two different solutions.

Please help me


And I live in Arizona so this is the problem with driving on the side streets with hot air blowing in your face when its 100 to 107 lately
