this time im all about the car and wrenching. None of the other BS that clouds forums sometimes

 

Whats the plans? Big power?

 

not 100% sure yet ill have to do some research on here. To be honest tho, im more about usable power. I would rather a nice set up that I could use the power then an extreme HP build that would never be able to used

 

People bitch about fwd but if you're set up right with tires, trans and suspension you can put down 600hp

 

thats ALOT of HP/Torque thru the front wheels> That would be incredible

 

If lightweight civics can do it so can we

 

You would know all about the Hoda Civic

Donkeyballs sold me his turbo kit, doesn't get around here too often any more. Wonder if he ever got rid of the cobalt or still has it to daily.

Welcome back.. I'm actually new here, I got a black 2009 cobalt ss/TC, actually had the same concerns as you. Powell race shop seems interesting.

 

John Powell makes some great parts for the Cobalt and Ion. I should know too, have almost all of his handling upgrades with the exception of under car rails, a harness barand some of the brake parts.

 

What's up.. My cobalt is gone, rocking a 2014 cruze rs with a siq 1.4t lol. I was beating the fu*k out of it today and made me kinda miss the cobalt. Now I'm here lurking..

 

So you did finally get rid of it should have traded me those polished wheels first. Also should have installed the racing seats so I could take the SS/TC ones. Anyways though good luck with the new car, hope you got the manual.
