Just got a Cobalt and am very excited!

Hello everyone! I Just bought a Cobalt SS/SC and am very excited. I do have on question about it though when I pull the E-break it has to be at the very last notch for the car to stop rolling back. Is that normal with all Cobalts? My brother use to have an SS and said his did that to but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks again everyone!

Welcome, you will need to tighten your ebrake cable.

That or one of the 2 cables for each rear brake that holds the car came unhooked. Take off the rear section behind the ebrake handle and make sure both of the cables are connected

ebrake should only take 8-10 clicks to hold, definitely not all the way up, and welcome

Thanks Everyone. My brother used to own a turbo Cobalt before he got his ATS so luckily he knew how to tighten the e-brake. The only problem now is that it makes a noise when I pull it up lol. I will defiantly post some pictures once I get the windshield fixed! The only mod on it is it has a after market intake and it's lowered. Thanks again everyone!
