Long time lurker

Hey, so I've been a long time lurker... I own a 2010 cobalt LT, this site has been the result of a few modifications to my slowbalt, main ones being FE5 + sport lines, depo headlights, and hids. Kinda regret the sport lines though. Oh and at one point I remember chopping some air box restrictor. I love my cobalt, it's my first car, but truthfully I want to move on

No she will be with me for a few more years! I joined to post a thread regarding the FE5 + sportline setup, and post some parts for sale in the classifieds. It's just as of now having a 2 door FWD car with little trunk space and going to college in a snowy area is why I mentioned I would like to move on.

Fold the back seats down and insert items from there. Trunk just got way more functional. Also, sportlines blow. Buy new springs and you'll keep the car at least an extra month or so.

Indeed. A cooler can't be placed in the trunk, but it will fit in there. Also check your tires and be sure they are snow capable tires. That will help if nothing else.

Yeah it doesn't help that I have a subwoofer taking up half of my trunk. Also, I recently got winter tires for this past winter and they made a huge difference. I just have to drive down the 400 miles back home to swap them on and go back up which sucks.

I've been contemplating putting my stock springs back on my car, I just can't remember how much different the stock springs were to the sportlines. At this point I'd rather have the jacked up look the stock base cobalts have rather than the harsh ride, roads here get pretty nasty. I knew the sportlines would be stiffer just didn't think this bad. I did a lot of research before purchasing them and quite a few members here claimed they weren't too rough. Well I beg to differ.
