Hi I am new to this site, I own a 2007 Chevy cobalt lt. I am wanting to replace parts like the brakes and clutch along with putting mods in it to make it better and faster. I am taking friendly suggestions on what to get for my car. Please help me out, I would appreciate. Thank you.

The best bang for your buck performance upgrade is a supercharger kit from an SS cobalt. Check out zzperformance.
you can upgrade to supercharged ss brakes fairly easily if you have 16”+ wheels and are 5 lug. You would just need calipers, rotors, pads, and possibly new brake hoses.
as for the clutch, stock should be fine for a supercharger unless you have a lot of miles. Ive had really good luck with my KY clutch from turbo tech racing.

X2 on the KY clutch. I am running the KY Stage 2 clutch and it's very similar in feel to the stock clutch, I've put 30k miles on it without any issues. You could piece together a supercharger kit to save money over the ZZP kit as well but you would likely be getting used parts opposed to new parts from the ZZP kit. I wouldn't recommend the stock pulley on the supercharger as I got bored with it fast and got a good deal locally for a low mile m62 with a GM stage 2 (3.06") pulley.

X3 on KY clutch. I ran it in my car with TVS and it worked great. I switched to a ClutchMasters F400 when I last had my transmission out, because the KY wasn't rated for the torque I am making, but now I have to remove the transmission again because the F400 drug at high rpms which caused me to fubar a synchro between a 2nd-3rd gear forced **** during autocross event. Basically the KY clutch held up great and never failed me even at torques higher than it was rated for.
