I Just bought an 07 cobalt ss with the base engine last week. Already had to replace clutch and transmission. Exhaust work too. But all under warranty. Aftermarket stereo tomorrow. CAI soon too. I'm really enjoying this car. Only 110000km.

 

Welcome. May I recommend a short ram intake. Doesn't seem to be too popular among this population, but that's what I'm running and with a tune on top, the car sounds pretty good. Once I added the exhaust it was game over, sound wise. Doesn't have that "ricer" sound, but a nice deeper tone. Still quiet when you're not really getting on it, but full throttle the car screams.

Can I ask why you chose the N/A Version, and not Forced induction?

Thanks for the welcomes. I bought the base engine because this was the best choice of used cars I could afford in my area. SC and TC weren't options.
