The ToB/slave is what engages/disengages the clutch. You need the newer version of it as the LSJ one has the highest fail rate.
I am in Daytona Beach area, I will be in Tampa this weekend. Where are you at?
I have never even heard of the clutch and I avoid "stage" clutches. The GMPP is tried and true plus is comes with everything you need, TOB as well, to install.

Okay haha. I live in Port Saint Lucie, don't think you've seen this car for sale
Why do you avoid stage clutches? I'd get the GMPP, BUT my other clutch should be at my house today.

Because they have a tendency to be grossly underrated and have shitty engagements.
We were just giving you advice.

I'm 3.5 hours away from you lol. And I honestly got the car about a month ago, so I dont know exactly what is done to the car except for the visual parts. Hence the 2.9 pully and 3 inch exhaust, cai, and suspension and wheels. I need to have my mechanic friend do a full go around.

It's my first domestic car, and first FI car, basically first car I can actually mess with. So I still have tons to learn.

Welcome. Fort Myers here.

I'd go with a BPS Shifter.

So I get my car back today. My friend put the clutch in for me. Cant wait to get her back. I miss it so much lol. So is there any way I can make the car more reliable? I just want it to be a quick daily but I also want it to be reliable since I'm in college and drive it about 50 miles a day.

CEL is on. Every time it's on I get the code read at autozone around the corner from my house and it's always either miss fire in cylinder 1 or random miss fires. I changed all the spark plugs and the coilpacks are new so I have no idea what it could be. And I like to get on the gas a lot so I just wanted to know what I could do to keep from having problems with it. Should I use some STP fuel injector cleaner? Anything else I should check?

They were black and you could tell they needed to be changed, old owner took **** care of the car. The 1st cylinder was arching. Like it had a slanted look to it. And from what I can tell the oil level has stayed the same. I think I read something to help with the misfire in the first cylinder was for me to clean the throttle body. Any other ideas maybe? I have no idea what it could be.
