Recently, I've had to start replacing quite a bit of OEM parts that just no longer functioned as intended.

Brakes - Front and rears
1 rim (bent on a pothole)
Rear struts - Just installed a set of KYB GR-2 on the rears


Anywho, I may or may not post more often here, but figured I'd start a post, intro myself a bit, and see whats up. Already used the rear strut replacement guide (needed the tq specs for the struts).

Welcome! Must have been a hell of a pot hole to bend the stock 15"

 

It was no joke. The crazier thing is..... even though the rim bent, the tire took absolutely 0 damage to it. Control arms, suspension, NOTHING else damaged. Just the bent rim.

 

I bent 2 rims on my 09 G5 because of a crater that was on a bridge in NJ... the 15" steelies. It was unavoidable Surprised my suspension was OK.

Yea, mine happened in RI, with the fantastic roads they have there........ It was either hit the pothole, or the car next to me to swerve outta the way.
