I'm looking to have a roof rack system installed for 2008 Chev Cobalt - 4Dr, but I don't know between Thule or Yakima, which is the better fit?

I've heard Thule is recommended because they differentiate between the models more than Yakima. On the other hand Yakima is cheaper, but I see on forums peeps are using spacing different from the manufacture recommendations due to better stability?

I just want to know which is best for stability for kyaks (cost is less of an issue imo). The rivers are about 40 minutes for me withe 25 minutes freeway driving.
