Ss drive train to ls or lt

Is it possible to put my ss drive train in a ls or Lt 5 speed my ss is rotted pretty bad where the back trailing arm attached to and not sure if it's even salvageable but I can find ls or Lt around where I live cheap so I would love some insight on this if at all possible

You could but that would require transplanting the ecu, harness, and probably the bcu and harness too.

You would need pretty much all the electronics from your donor car. It has been done a few different ways over the years but plan on needing all the wiring from the ss.

Yes it can be done and I know a guy he did it to his cobalt lt sedan and swapped over the enitre lsj cobalt supercharged drivetrain. It took him a full year to do it in his garage by himself. I can't even imagine what it would cost to get it done at a mechanic shop. Here is the easier alternative which i'm doing with my Pontiac G5 GT 2.4 ecotec. I'm taking the m62 supercharger and putting it on my car along with stock cobalt ss heat exchanger, lsj throttle body. And then I upgraded my suspension with parts from the cobalt ss including larger front sway bar from a cobalt ss, front struts from a turbo charged ss and then also added yyz springs, bilstein rear shocks, powell rear sway bar, moog endlinks(getting powegrids soon), zzp front strut bar, stainless braided brake lines etc. With those suspension parts my G5 handles better than a stock cobalt ss.
