So my tc light keeps coming on randomly and then my transmission starts to shift really hard at the same time idk what to do about it fr please help yall I have a 06 cobalt ss basic no super charger yet lol !!!!!

 

Few more data points would be helpful, miles on the car, any mods to the car, any repair work from collisions, and does the TC light come on during a similar action (hard acceleration, light acceleration, after driving so long, etc)

It could be a wheel speed sensor starting to fail causing the traction control system to activate.

Has the transmission fluid & filter ever been replaced?

 

This issue happened to me its probably a bad ground wire to your transmission. I would get it checked asap because if the tcm gets fried the car will be in limp mode and then you'll have to buy a new tcm(transmission ecu/module). Unfortunately I waited too long and have to do that now. Also check youtube and type in bad chevy cobalt tcm and videos wil come up about the subject and give advice on how to fix the problem.
