Direct Port

So I am still looking into Nitrous options. I am going to hopefully get a system hooked up over the winter. I am planning on getting a new intake manifold and having it machined to accept the nozzles and swapping it out. That way I can alway return the car to stock.

What do you guys think?

I was also thinking of putting a single fogger nozzle in the intake manifold as well, but I figure if I am going to be putting in one hole I mid as well go for broke and just do the individual runners.

Well I am liking ZEX because they have a TPS nitrous trigger and since we can't put a micro switch on the throttle it seems like a good alternative. I do have a micro switch setup on the pedal and it's been ok but I don't think it will be as reliable as TPS signal.

Just a suggestion here. TPS sensors are fine but get an MSD window switch as well. it may be the best $150-ish you ever spend if you are going NOS. Run them in series so that one will not activate without the other.

Direct port seems to be catching on, here is a Ford Racing manifold with the NX direct port.

My suggestions as the NOS system of choice would be this (says import but ignore it)

http://www.holley.com/products.asp?product=04430NOS with this http://www.holley.com/products.asp?product=15834NOS

Nitrous Express seems have the best efficiency out there...I dont think i would go with NOS over ZEX though...BUT the NOZZLE system NOS has is pretty dang good...but i dont know how compatible that system is with these cars...they work of f-body's ok!!

Since it sounds like you're waiting anyway, wait until Venom Performance releases a kit.

If you want to hid it I know the perfect place to put it along with an 'arming' switch.

They are only using his car to develop a kit, not push the internals So his car is safe. There's supposed to be a Redline that's pushing over 300HP on turbo, so I wonder how big the shot will be.

^whats the point? so its a 'sleeper'? The CSS is flashy already, there is no way it can be a sleeper. I would show off the injecters and be like 'yo biotch, i got NAWS!!!' hahaha jk. But i would show off the nitrous system. (a little)

They aren't going to do a direct port ,they are designing a plate(looks like a tb spacer). It fits in between the tb and the s/c.Then they are putting jets on the sides......the only mod is the injector cover has to be cut slightly but ...oh well price u have to pay......the plate will be complete next friday

I am still toying with the idea, but I am liking the NX Dual Nozzle System more and more. One nozzle drilled into the 2 sides of the intercooler/intake manifold. Of course start with the 2 X 35 jets. I don't know if I would ever try 2 x 50. That would be sick

Just gotta save up 1000+ bux to do it right
